Australis Tan Mousse First Impressions

Welcome back to my beauty blog!
Firstly can I say... Thanks for 13,000 views!
Today I'll be sharing my first impressions of the new Australis Tan! Before I start I just want to mention that I purchased this product myself, this post is in no way sponsored! If I ever do a sponsored post I will always state that in the post. This is just my  honest first impression, I've only got 3 progress shots as I've been extremely busy however keep an eye out towards the end of the month.. I'm going on holidays and I will be using this tan again and taking many photos :)

Let's start with the colour I tried. The Priceline I went to only had the Mousse and Body Contour. The only colours available were the green and violet (which didn't bother me because an ash undertone is not for my skin anyway). Due to my background in tanning (I'm a qualified spray tanner) I chose the green base as it's what I'm used to!
These tans are "all skin tones" rather than light, medium and dark. As an extremely pale person I was really concerned that I'd end up way to dark, or god forbid orange. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised.
Application was super easy and straight forward. I used my ModelCo tanning mitt to apply. The tint in the application sat in groves of my skin and was sometimes almost un-blendable at times, however any streaks washed off in the shower and did not appear once the tan had developed. Please see below my results!
I decided to be brave and wait 2 hours before washing off. The bottle recommends between 1-3 hours depending on how dark you want your tan. Can I just say that 1-3 hours is an extremely quick time for a tan to develop!

As I mentioned I was concerned applying this tan as a pale person, I've had many bad experiences in the past. When the tan developed, I was really impressed! I wasn't orange, too dark, patchy or streaky... The tan lasted approximately a week and came off reasonably well. I only had one weird patch (3rd picture above). I've really no idea how this happened but I will say I wear a watch and a Pandora bracelet on that arm 24/7 so perhaps that caused it?

Well that's about it for my first impression. I'm really impressed with this tan and I'm looking forward to applying it again. Stay tuned for a full review at the beginning of next month!

Thanks so much for reading! An extra thank you to all my readers and supporters, I still can't believe we are on 13,000 views!
