My Biore Pore Strip bruised me!

Hello there fellow beauty lovers! Today brings a sad end to my love/hate relationship with pore strips... I was always told by my beauty instructors that pore strips were a big NO NO but those Instagram videos made them look so good and sooooooooooooooooooo satisfying. I've been using pore strips for about 3 years now, and in that time I've only used around 5. Why so little? I've always been afraid that using them too much would stretch my pores and result in more black heads. Alas it was a different tragedy that has brought my use of the strips to an end. I read somewhere that Kmart MIGHT be getting ELF cosmetics in, but when I visited Kmart today look what I found! (See photos above). Now I'm not sure exactly what Kmart stores stock Elf as they have no information on their website about it. Kmart OXX Cosmetics Nudes eyeshadow palette review

Previously on my instagram I tested the OXX Cosmetics glitter cream palette. I wasn't the least bit impressed with it and unfortunately the Nudes palette is not much better. While the swatches do look semi-decent for a $10 palette, the performance just screams cheap and nasty. It's a shame that the performance is so subpar . The colour story is gorgeous and the packaging is kind of cute in it's on way. The shadows feel like someone pressed pure chalk into an eyeshadow palette. The slightest touch leaves a finger print/dent and fallout is intense. This is one of the few products I've reviewed on my blog that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
