Beauty News July 2018

Welcome back to FaceAttire! Today I will be talking about some of the latest releases of July 2018. There are heaps of US instagram profiles that keep up to date with releases but I noticed there were barely any for us Aussie and Kiwi babes so I've created @beautynewsau_trends to keep you up to date with all the latest! Let's get into it:
Australis Slay All Day lip stains
It seemed only fitting that I start with an Aussie brand.. Australis Cosmetics released their Slay All Day lip stains this month, that promise to last all day with no need for touch ups. The lip stain comes in three colours:
Nama Slay (Pink)
Rise and Slay (Orange)
Slay like Bae (Red)

They retail for $14.95AUD on the Australis Website and will also be available at Priceline Australia.

Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation
Beauty Blender also announced their Bounce foundation this month that has caused a lot of controversy with the shade range. The foundation is due to be released on the 24th although there is no word yet on the Australian Sephora release date. There are 32 shades with matching beauty blenders, unfortunately the matching blenders are only available in NYC.  They will retail for $40USD each.

KKW beauty classic collection
Kim Kardashion West is due to release  her Classic collection this month (27th) featuring a gorgeous nude palette, 4 lipsticks and 4 lip liners. The full collection will set you back $164USD. Individually:
Eyeshadow palette: $45USD
Peach Creme Lipsticks: $18USD each
Peach Creme Lip Liners: $12USD each
Etude House soft drink lip tints
Etude House announced and released their Soft Drink lip Tints in one of the cutest packaging's I've ever seen. The set of 4 in the vending machine packaging retails for $36USD. The lip tints individually are $8.50USD each. There are 5 shades to choose from:
Milky Soda (Blue)
Grapefruit Fantasy (Orange)
Peach Tok Tok Tok (Pink)
Great Grape (Purple)
Zero Red (Red)
No word yet on any Australian stockists.

Hourglass scattered light glitter eyeshadows
Taking a dive into whats new at Mecca Maxima, we have the scattered light glitter eyeshadows by Hourglass.
"Offering a fresh take on the classic glitter eyeshadow, these luxurious glitter pots are made up of light-reflecting pearls, delivering a romantic illusion of light scattered across the lids."
There are 5 shades to choose from:
Foil
Reflect
Aura
Smoke
Blaze
These retail for $42AUD online and instore at Mecca. Alongside this release Mecca is also stocking the new Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara at $42AUD
Mecca Max Beauty Queen eyeshadow palette
Sticking with the Mecca theme, we have the brand new Mecca Max beauty queen eyeshadow palette, which has been very popular with instagram bloggers. The palette has 15 shimmery shades for the eyes and face and retails for $38AUD. Doesn't it feel great to have a palette exclusive to Australia for once?
Napoleon Perdis now at Priceline
Moving on to Priceline, Napoleon Perdis is the latest brand to be carried instore and online. It's an odd move for Priceline, who normally carry more "Drugstore" affordable brands. Napoleon Perdis retails from $19AUD to $85AUD. Priceline has also had a little bit of controversy this month for selling obviously fake Kylie lip kits in one of it's stores.
Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop foundations in 45 shades

I've saved the best for last, the new NYX Cosmetics Can't Stop Won't Stop foundation has been announced with an impressive 45 shades. They will be available August 16th in the US, no news yet on any Australian release dates..

I hope you have enjoyed my first beauty news post, what release are you most excited for?
